Unable to remote desktop to Hyper-V VM

I recently tried to help someone remote desktop into Hyper-V VM as the person wasnt comfortable working with the resolution offered by the Hyper-V Console. However for some reason RDP was not working. I checked port no 3389 through netstat -na|more command and found that it was listening I checked that remote desktop was enabled however still RDP wasnt working Finally with the help a colleague i found that in the VM Settings-> a checkbox Enable virtual LAN identification was checked and this needed to be unchecked in order for the RDP to work. Why would you want to use RDP to connect to your VM? Well for a much better display resolution and seamless clipboard access
